Thanks Fermi!
Here is the bit about reporting to CRAs at the end of the DAF guide
Will my deferment application impact how you report to CRAs on a monthly basis?
Separately to your deferment application, and in line with the terms and conditions of your original
loan agreement(s), we will report your current outstanding balance and how up to date you are with
repayments to CRAs on a monthly basis, in the following circumstances:
•
For loan agreements signed before or during 1997, we have permission to report details of the loan to
CRAs every month, including if you are in deferment
•
For loan agreements signed during 1998 and onwards;
–
We have permission to report details of the loan to CRAs every month, but only if the loan is in
arrears or defaulted; or
–
You have specifically agreed for us to report details of the loan to CRAs, in writing, separately
to this form.
If your application for deferment is successful and your account(s) meets one or more of the conditions as
stated above, your account will be listed at the CRAs as in a payment holiday. This will confirm to the CRAs
that we have agreed to temporarily stop your monthly repayments. If your account does not meet any of
the conditions stated above, it will not be listed at the CRAs.
The signing and submission of your Deferment Application Form to Erudio Student Loans
does not
change
your terms and conditions in any way in relation to any recording of information about your account
Me again: so its even more definitive this time, they say they WILL report the pre-97 loans to CRAs and not Might.0 -
Honestly not sure why I bother. My complaint against the adjudicator has been rejected. Stating erudio abided by procedures. Yet the fos refused to calculate my income stating it was not their job. So in essence erudio can do what they like with the calculations and get away with it. Have until 18th March to accept the decision and compensation.. complaints about our service
1. tell the team manager
In the first instance, please tell the member of staff you are dealing with – or their team manager – if you are unhappy with the level of service we have provided. You can do this either by phone – or in writing.
The team manager will try to put right – as quickly as possible – anything we have done wrong. Usually things can be sorted out straight away at this stage.
2. raise your concerns with a senior manager
If a team manager hasn't been able to sort out your complaint about the service we have provided, you can ask a senior manager to look into your concerns. The member of staff you are dealing with will tell you how to do this – if you want to take the complaint further.
The senior manager will respond within 20 working days. If we need more time, we will let you know and explain why.
Where relevant, we will tell you how we will put things right – and how we plan to make sure the mistakes do not happen again.
what to do if you are still not happy - the independent assessor
If we have responded to your complaint about the level of service we have provided, but you’re still not happy, you can contact the independent assessor, Amerdeep Somal.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I feel sick. I have one loan from '97 and one each from 98/99. Looks like this is going to affect my application for my first mortgage.meh...0

It seems Helen Ashton's company Capquest was purchased by Arrow Global in Nov 2014:
http://www.capquest.co.uk/home/
To me, Capquest looks like a Capita like service, so i wonder if we will now be dealing with Capquest? They are listed as a debt collector in so many words and seem to provide a hands on service.
Rather worryingly though, she also seems to have 12 current directorships, so is again just a face, like Mark Filer was i guess, who has much more important work to be getting on with than focusing merely on Erudio and making sure all its contracted out services run smoothly for us all. That said, she did apologise, which was a step too far for her co-Capquest director One Mr Zachary Jason Lewy...and then in one of her first acts changed the wording of reporting our loans to CRAs as WILL, not MIGHT.0 -
A mortgage lender would see this as a loan under a payment holiday which could be a large negative factor as it could suggest that you are struggling or in some sort of hardship.Still rolling rolling rolling......
