My reward and ultimate reward debit cards are contactless... I've even ordered a personalised UR debit card that is contactless, so they definitely do them! I just rang asked :)

The thread is about Halifax credit rather than debit cards.

Halifax told me that I would need to close my existing Clarity and re-apply to get a contactless version.

The OP only specifies "cards", not "debit" nor "credit".

I read the OP and replied to that... I didn't read the rest of the chain, as I figured it would probably say similar to what I was saying... The OP makes no mention of what type of card, but thanks for your input.

This thread is in the "Credit Cards" section of the forum, so it could be assumed the OP was referring to a credit card.

Post #8 mentions Clarity card, which is only a credit card.

Halifax don't help matters by showing images of contact-less Clarity cards all over their pamphlet about how to use your new card.

The Original Post makes no mention....

(OK OP was ambiguous, but the rest of my post said that I didn't read the chain)

Confused after reading some of the above.

Can I get a Clarity card from Lloyds, where I have my accounts.
It's your money. Except if it's the governments.
  • I only have one contact less card, my Orange Pre-Paid Mastercard.

I didn't really want any contact less cards, but as it appears you can't get a non-contact less one, I just keep it in one of these.

Not that there's ever very much available on it, to steal.
