In that case I'd be tempted to send them a letter saying:

"I'm not paying so take me to court......oh no wait, you can't!"

Mind you, knowing some of the PPC's legal departments (and the solicitors they use) you'll have to explain what a limitation period is.
And what a door is since some of them seem to have barely enough intelligence to be able to use one...

If you do write to the Co-op, tell them not to pay it on your behalf - CEL seem to have started chasing lots of co-op car park invoices as when customers complain to the co-op, the co-op pay it on their behalf.

    Bizarre!

But if the business model of CEL (&others) is about to implode they may be trying to get as much as they can before the curtain comes down.
Surely its not possible, now that Coop pay them all, that CEL would dig up all possible(and not possible) old invoices knowing Coop would just give in?
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Maybe this is why they're doing it? Realised Co-Op are a light touch and pretty much a cash cow.

As a shareholder, (member), I feel it my duty to warn Co-op of this possible scam.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I would also raise questions about their legal department. How can they enter into contracts with PCP's where they have to pay the tickets themselves rather than being able to cancel them.

Sooner the better, looks like CEL is well trying to RIPP the co-op off as much as possible:mad:
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
