Unsure whether to claim PPI after having been on a DMP

I was unsure I was able to submit a PPI claim, especially as I'd just finished a lengthy DMP (11 years as I had to reduce hours due to sickness).
My husband nudged me to put a claim in because I had nothing to lose and am I so glad I did.
RBOS (my nemesis) have today sent me three offers totalling £9777.46.
I started my dmp in 2002 and in late 2007 RBOS took me to court for a CCJ for missed payments that they had lost. When I got the CCJ set aside, I was obviously on their radar but even though I'd religiously paid my debt management plan on time and had done for 6 years by then, they took me back to court a further 3 times. No change in payment to them from me, as advised by the Judge, although the tinkers did get a Charging Order against me.
Fast forward to last November, DMP paid off in full (11 years mind, due to reduced working hours, now classed as disabled and still working but paid off all in full nevertheless).
I had no paperwork due to a leak and water damage but did have some account numbers because of my DMP. I had a phone call from RBOS Tuesday 4/3/14 which lasted 30 mins or so whereby they wanted further information to help with their investigation. Today I've just come in and opened their letters.
Hubby is out at the moment, I cried when I rang him because I couldn't believe it. All the stress they put me through, even though I was always employed and never out of work, never missed a payment. Hubby says this is payback for the upset and disruption.
So, if you're unsure whether to submit a claim, my advice is do it. I used the form from here. Nice to have something going my way for once. Thanks to Martin :j:T

I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.
