Anyone fancy talking colours?
I have this:
Which I wanted to render and paint to match the house. I realise I will be waiting a long time for this to be rendered. Doozer suggested painting, which I could do myself but I wasn't keen on as it would look cheaply done if the colour matched the house. I've only just realised that if I paint it an entirely different colour, it won't look like I'm trying to match it.
I like this colour as well as the two strapping young men
Are there any bold colours that would go in an English garden?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Good strategy. Perhaps with a friend and Isaac with you as distractions.
Better to get it done at this age, than them decide to have it done when older. AFAIK all the royal family are done too.For many years my dinner-party claim to fame was that I was circumcised by the same rabbi who performed the procedure on Prince Charles.

How do you remedy it if they decide when they are older that they did not want it done? Is there much of a backlash about it?
In line with changes in the law the royal family no longer fox hunt. That they did it, did not make it right or currently nationally acceptable any longer.
As micheals said, times may change legal perspectives on this tradition too and mothers will not be faced with such decisions for their cubs .
Spirit, it's more than a tradition for Orthodox Jews. It's a fundamental part of the religion. A commandment, if you like. An Orthodox Jew would no more willingly agree to murder or adultery than he would to not circumcising his son.
Banning circumcision, for whatever good motives, would be equivalent in religious terms to say banning confession or holy communion. Any committed Christians faced with such a ban would simply move abroad or continue to practise their religion clandestinely. I am not saying that circumcision should not be banned, but the repercussions should be understood.
Curiously enough, none of our four sons has ever reproached us for that. We get reproached for lots of things, but not that!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Well done. I know this wasn't your first house but your first mortgage maybe?
We're off to your favourite hospital tomorrow. Got a pile of change mounting up in the kitchen to prepare for parking. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
