Nah, Pastures will get an OBE and endorsed by slebs for her contribution to society. She will also get to sing in front of the Queen
Or maybe I am mixing her up with Gary Barlow.0 -

Sorry if it is not miserable enough:)
Having downshifted jobs 10 years ago this was not what he had in mind as to what a good day in the office looks like. I think it is more punching above the paygrade than POSH.
He is genuinely nervous about something on this scale again. The strain has been enormous. I have never posted before that I was invited on a business trip with him, because I usually decline. This time if I am well enough I will go to support him and celebrate his success.0 -
Chatterboxes!
Well done chewy! Have you sorted out a travelodge for 3 weeks?
Have just been on a trip into London to see a friends daughter in theatre near Elephant & Castle. I do like matinees, nice show then a meal out and still home at a reasonable time.
On the train home were football supporters in red & white and others in orange & black and they all behaved civilly.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. For the record (as the conversation has moved on) my nails are currently naked, in need of some cover up.
I am rarely immaculate.
As for the millionaire claim, I think secret millionaires need to have money floating around as opposed to living in a house that increases in value just by being in the south-east.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We sat on the prom and had an ice cream today in the glorious sunshine...I would have been quite happy to have sat there for many hours but unfortunately, youngest had to be picked up from Geek Hut.
Our prom is another lovely walk if ever anyone on here visits the town, over 4 miles and with some lovely scenery along the way.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I read this article expecting it to be a third world problem.

"She earned anywhere from $100 to $150 a day;"
And that was a few years ago ..... I'd be up for some of that!
Do you think you get fag breaks??0 -

I like the idea that you aren't there for long enough for jet lag to apply. Unfortunately it doesn't really work like that in practice.
I think that we paid a little over $9,000 (call it £4, 500) for a return ticket for the next trip. Admittedly that's at Christmas oh and for 4 of us. I reckon we normally pay about a thousand quid a head for adult tickets on Virgin.
You don't get much of a discount for the kids once they're over 2.
We're flying premium economy to and from the middle east which is the longest leg by far. Before anyone gives me a posh alert, it was precisely the same price as regular economy.
Oh, my mate's great grandad was Lord Balfour. I guess that's a bit posh.
I'm back home from my weekend dog sitting. It was great. I drove along that road in the Daily Mail article PN linked to this morning. I took a photo which I'll try to put up later.0 -

Doing family history research for my friend, I found out that in the early to mid 1600s, tobacco was grown commercially in the UK... specifically in the Vale of Evesham.
Some of the growers, who would have been very poor and working for the manor owners, ended up going to America as early adventurers and using their expertise to make money there. Soon the growing died out in the UK, but you can still occasionally find tobacco plants growing in hedgerows in the area. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
