NDG thanks for the photos, he looks scrumptious and Isaac seems to be adapting to the part of older brother. Hope you are feeling well.

Babies are just such a miracle. Enjoy him.

That's a fantastic picture. So glad everything went well. Get as much rest as you can - you're going to need it :)

We live in Liverpool! :) We were just in Wales. Hoping to get back to Wales to caravan soon to pull up the pesky bracken that infests the "hedge" as it emerges. Or it will smother my agapanthus plant. Plus it's usually useful to start hacking the brambles before they get too big and rampant. And also this time of year the wild flowers in the hedge are lovely - foxgloves and red campion (it's actually pink) especially good. And OH wants to get some paint on the boat too, as he sanded it down last time we were there. I think he may need to get the paint before we go - I've offered to look online, but he doesn't trust me with the precious boat paint ordering! :rotfl: Actually I need complete instructions on the paint, as apparently we're using a different colour red to the one we used to use. (I thought there used to be a confused smiley? Which I could deffo use here! Or did it go the same way as some of my other faves?) Plus we have to have different undercoat too and a different white? <roll eyes smiley also gone> Ah well, such is life! :rotfl:

Suspect deck needs re-treating too. Hardly a restful break!!! ;)

Another chicken has not come in this evening and there are black feathers in a neighbours garden. It is not looking good.:(

The neighbour also saw a large fox take a male pheasant this afternoon from their garden. So the fox is pretty daring, they usually have an evening and dawn patrol. People have been in and out of gardens all afternoon and next door has a bonfire going.

We have one little chicken left, I am going to have to get her some friends urgently.

Need to talk to pest control. We cannot shoot pests as we have a public footpath across our plot.
