I am hoping you are joking:eek:
NP couples do not fit this model from what I can remember.
Local dates for local people...I think I feel a TV programme coming on.
My family were inbreeding for centuries ..... all in one small area. It doesn't hurt - and that 6th finger and those webbed toes come in handy!0 -

... "accord" ... I like your choice of word.

GCSE physics questions quote different U-values for double glazed with and without curtains, so it's not just anecdotal.neverdespairgirl wrote: »That's what OH wanted, and I can happily live with it. It might be a tad tricky to arrange in the first place, but the units screw to each other and to the wall, so they're pretty solid. OH has 4 x 2 and 2 x 2 in his study with the latter on top of the former, and there's lots of room higher up, still. I think you'd shove things you didn't need very often at the top (-:
Didn't realise they screwed to each other and to the wall. That makes more sense.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

A new baby we know came to visit us when he was a couple of months old. He appeared to have both his hands bandaged like a boxer.
He had had his 6th fingers removed that week.0 -
Nikkster...I am sorry you have been sad. You have done so much over the last year. I am really proud of you.
Have we missed your birthday?
Masomania...if something is going nowhere it is best it gets there quickly. These older women....how does 26 grab you?:rotfl:
We could chuck in a few grand and a ladder.0 -

I think only dating local people is the best way to get yourself on Jeremy Kyle.
It's okay if you can find one person and stick with them, but most of us get it wrong a couple of times. That's when similar social circles with an ex can go badly wrong.
I married a Portuguese Brummy.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I should know the way without sat nav, its not somewhere I consider out of my territory, but I found last time while I got there perfectly because I was tired and frazzled and a bit stressed I came back feeling unsure. ( forgetful ness is one of my symptoms, and il get self doubt about things I feel sure sometimes of in case I have forgotten them...but if I know something I know it.) that's why I'd rather have sat nav.
Bit of a long shot, but you haven't upgraded to a smart phone since I last saw you, have you? Even longer shot, but does RP or anyone else close to you have a smart phone you could borrow for the day? Because if by any chance you had, it would do satnav for you.lemonjelly wrote: »For clarity, I was only pulling PN's leg!:)

A macputer will do exactly the same, very well with Google Maps installed. If the car has a bluetooth facility then the macputer should talk nice and loud.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Likewise.PasturesNew wrote: »I will admit to having spent the last few hours distraught at having upset you, spoken out of turn, said the wrong thing, put my foot in it etc..... and I was hoping to "get away with it" after your post by hoping that a few people would make many posts, thus distancing me from it asap with the least people knowing
I think I even deleted what I said ..... such was the pain.
s'OK, we're good. Cheers for letting me know that you weren't offended etc.
V sorry PN.PasturesNew wrote: »When/why did house builders start choosing roof tiles over thatch?
Dunno about using tiles. Not using thatch is because thatching is more of a skilled craft than tiling, and because the kinds of reeds they thatch with don't grow all over the place in an industrialised society in the way that they presumably did near most villages in earlier times, I think.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? True, but OTOH the excess of women in rural China/India isn't much use to Masomnia unless he goes there to meet them. Demographics for the UK are probably more relevant in this context than global ones.Doozergirl wrote: »A macputer will do exactly the same, very well with Google Maps installed. Oooh, hadn't thought of the macputer. lir, do you have the wherewithal to connect the macputer to the internet when you're out and about away from your wireless at home?Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
