  • Credit-Cleaner is also linked to this account. They took £9.99 from me today.

My husband is going to go mental when he sees the bank statement. I never even signed up to this company. I was tricked into signing with 1 broker, I applied for 1 loan. Since then I have had over 60 text messages. This has put me in a right mess. I am petrified of what's going to happen if I don't get that money back.

To top it off I can't even log into my account to cancel and request a refund. I have to wait for them to email me a new password as I didn't have the last one. I have only just read the message from them about the password because I just thought the text they sent was another 'we can give you a loan of a million pound today' things.

I honestly don't know what to do. I cant sleep.

How did a broker manage to trick you into entering your card details?

Contact your bank and get them to cancel the Continuous Payment Authority (CAP) you have set up so that membership fees can be taken. Then forget about logging back in and read the terms & conditions on the website. It will usually tell you to write yo an address to cancel your membership and get a refund.

Then once you've got that all sorted out, tell your husband before he sees a bank statement.

I'm not recommending a payday credit is a great thought yet why are you taking a gander at generally obscure organizations for an advance?
What's the matter with the prominent organizations who publicize on TV? Why is it hard to get your cash bank?
It ought to just take a couple of minutes to compose a letter and stick it in a post box next time you wander out.

By the time people reach the stage of entering their debit card details into these broker sites they will have already been turned down by the likes of Wonga and Pounds to Pocket.

They are desperate and are not paying attention to what they are actually signing up for nor do they bother to read the terms and conditions.

EDIT: Just realised this is a spammer building up his/her post count.

Well spotted. These are getting more realistic. I've just had a look at some other posts. I think it's trying to pimp its homepage.

I fell into their trap as well (loan wizard and loans direct). Loan Wizard took their fee and I called right away. They sent a text with my password for their website. I went through the procedure and was eventually sent a link to a form to print and send. Sent away on Friday, received an update on their website, offering me £43.16 (this is apparently minus £1 every day, although it says 0, and £15 for the first month of credit cleaner, don't even know what this is!) I have rejected the offer and they say they will get back to me with 48hrs. Should I call my bank and check there is no CPA's for this credit cleaner? Also just sent my letter today for Loans Direct so awaiting the same drawn out process.
