Coventry loses password change

I have a Coventry savings account that I have been unable to access on-line for over a year....
When I try - It goes straight to the "Access Blocked" page - not even giving me a single chance to try again...
It "automatically" sends me a password change letter - through the post - which I fill in and return to the Coventry - I leave it 8 days (they do not confirm receipt) and try again - this has happened at least 4 times in the last 12 months

It happened in November and Coventry made a "one off transfer to my bank" on receipt of email instructions and also a £25 ex gratia payment to me as "compensation for internal failures"
It has just reoccurred - First Attempt - this looks as if the paperwork has not even been implemented yet....

I am assuming that the problem does not lie with the Post Office - not delivering my letters to the Coventry ?

Has anyone else had similar problems with the Coventry ?

Could be any link in the chain.

The royal mail collecting from the post box.
The delivery centre that receives the mail from the post box.
    The delivery centre in Coventry
The post room at the Coventry BS.
The person that hands the post out at the BS.
The person that keys the password change who accidentally shredded the document.
The person scanning the mail if they're paperless..

    The possibilities are endless.

But since it has happened 4 times - different post boxes/offices - I think that it is looking like Coventrys fault ?
I have emailed them to ask for a full investigation

I would send your letter via recorded mail - that way you can ensure it arrives there!

Could you ring up to ask for the new password and request that they send it to a local Coventry branch (if you have one) so that you cut out a few of the links in the chain?

It won't let me - my account has been locked after only one attempt - which means that my password change has not gone through !!

I reckon this is where you're having your issues.
