AMEX - 2k spend in 3 months....

Hi All, Im looking for advice on how to spend £2k on an amex in 3 months. I'd though that perhaps i could pay council tax, buy tesco gift vouchers etc if i look to be short of the spending limit. If anyone has any hints or tips they would be much appreciated! Kind Regards Allan

I was always told by them as well that they won't generally decline restaurant and petrol purchases as well where it could get awkward if you couldn't pay.
