There is no such thing as an informal reason or a formal reason.
They will conisider on the reason you gave them initially, you really cant change your mind now and give a different reason.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I'd supplied RBOS with my mobile number and all contact had been via mail with them till I received a call on my mobile last week from a 'private number'. I answered it (happened to be in work at the time and it was RBOS), they asked if I was ok to talk which I was.
They informed that one of their case workers was looking into my PPI claim (submitted using the financial form here). I was asked the same, why did I think I was mis sold the PPI, did I make the application in person or over the phone, what do I remember about what documents I have to sign. Call went on for half hour. Really friendly chappy, recapping everything I'd said. Only thing I couldn't remember was where I had worked at the time period they were questioning. They gave me a freephone number, which I rang back that afternoon when I got home. That was 4 March.
Today, I've just received 2 letters in the post covering my claims (I only thought I had two, they unearthed four). They have offered me in total £9777.46 One happy buinny here.:jI got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0 -

I have been speaking to the bank on the telephone this afternoon and they asked me a question which I totally don't understand - can anyone on this forum help me? They asked me "if capable when not being able to actively carry out normal duties would you have been needed for the business to run normally"? What on earth does "if capable when not being able" mean......................
(this in in relation to my claim for mis-selling PPI on my business overdraft)The only way is up from LBM onwards :j0 -
Oooh that sounds a bit odd doesn't it. I personally translate that to mean something around the lines (I'm making up a scenario) 'if you broke your leg, you may not be able to physically get into work but would you have been needed for the business to continue to operate' .... were you the main decision maker.
Silly question but did you ask them what they meant. I know in my lengthy chat, they repeated questions a couple of times and in the end I asked was there something else they were trying to get to as I had replied and answered.
Not sure I've helped you but best of luck.I got there - I'm debt free and intend to stay that way. If I haven't got the cash, it doesn't get bought. It's as simple as that.0 -
