Free Orange broadband- must I get mobile contract with Orange directly to qualify?

Hello all!

I'd be grateful for some advice to a newcomer to the forum...

I currently have TalkTalk Talk 1 option for my home landline, Vodaphone for my mobile, and Orange (£14.99) broadband.

I wanted too make sure I took advantage of any combination deals on offer.

After a weekend of researching, I've decided to leave Vodaphone and have requested my PAC details.

So far, my plan is to move to a £30 Orange mobile package (which suits) to qualify to get my existing £14.99 Orange broadband for free.

What would be really helpful to know is:

Firstly, to qualify for the free Orange broadband deal, do I have to take out my new mobile contract directly with Orange itself or can I get the contract via one of the intermediary websites (e.g. Dialaphone, e2save etc.) and so take advantage of any cashback and free gift offers?

Secondly, are there any other combination deals available or alternative actions I could take to be even more cost-effective?

I'd appreciate any comments or advice to help me make the most cost-effective decisions possible.

Thank you all in advance.

Scotty

    Hello all!

I currently have Orange broadband (£14.99) and have decided to get a new mobile contract with Orange.

On £30+ contracts, the broadband will be free.

Can anyone help me by telling me whether I need to get the new contract direct with Orange or can I go via an intermediary (e.g. The Link, Carphone Warehouse) to get the contract to qualify for free broadband.

    Thank you.
