Do you use baby wipes for cleaning

I have a packet of Morries babywipes in the bathroom. They're used to take off my makeup (cheaper than ones sold for that purpose and work just as well) and then I give the bathroom floor a quick swipe round the edges, gets all the dust and fluff from there. Then they're binned.Normal people worry me.0

Thanks for your replies, glad to see I am not the only 'queen of wipes'
I find them more hygienic than having cloths hanging around or having to keep washing them. I do use those sponges for a good scour round and clean up but then I throw them away, inbetween I use the wipes. I also use those toilet duck disposable brushes for the loo, much better than having a loo brush festering at the side of the lav
Does anyone use wipes to clean the inside of your fridge or microwave? If so which kind do you use as I can't seem to find any specifically for this purpose?
Are baby wipes as good for make up removal as make up remover wipes?0 -
I too have never bought any and I don't think I'm likely to try them anytime soon.I have an old pillowcase on the back of my larder door which I bung worn out cloth in, face flannels ,cut up sheets old tee shirts etc.an old piece of rag with a squirt of vinegar or stardrops and thats good enough for cleaning with.I have three very old terry towelling nappies left over from my Dds babyhood that I ses as soft dusters and chuck in the wash when needed(my DDs are 46 & 44)I don't think I could be bothered buying something I was going to bin.My youngest DD chucks me worn out tee shirts from her sons to use as she knows 'Mums rag bag' of old

I do here
If I am doing some "proper cleaning", then it'll be spray on with some sort of cleaning spray then wipe clean with kitchen roll.
If it's just a bit of quick cleaning or a spill or coffee/tea mark, baby wipe all the way.0 -

Obviously your choice what you decide to do but it's no big deal washing cloths. I just throw them in with my normal hot wash.0 -
I don't do a hot wash and wouldn't want cloths I've wiped toilet with in with my other washing or hanging round for my weekly towel wash tbhHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

I have a cloth in the bathroom I use for cleaning. When it needs washing I just hand wash it in the sink using Stardrops and hang it up to dry.
I use a different cloth for polishing etc. in the other rooms.
Wipes strike me as very uneconomical.0 -
I use wipes for the toilet and sometimes the wash hand basin in the bathroom (different wipes) and for my desk at work.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Definitely use them to clean my bins, but baby wipes are also brilliant at removing small stains from clothes, in particular toothpaste from school uniform.
I wouldn't be without them.0 -
mostly we use dishcloths (5 for £ in Aldi) and put them in with the white wash. Over time they get demoted from kitchen to bathroom to floors to loos to bin.mummyroysof3 wrote: »I don't do a hot wash and wouldn't want cloths I've wiped toilet with in with my other washing or hanging round for my weekly towel wash tbh
Nor would I that's why final destination after loos is bin!0
