can I not ask the PPC for a POPLA code now or is it a case of waiting for the next letter and sending off the letter coupon mad showed me?
You can try - to be fair to all of us regulars, this is already covered in the 'Private Parking ticket? NEWBIES please read these FAQs first!' sticky thread at the top which I wrote in order to avoid unneeded new threads & pms!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi guys,
It's been a while I know but after moving house and changing cars I've had a latter today from zenith collections and DRP collections saying they want money from me over this ticket at the airport, they have nicely reduced it by half to £80 if paid soon unlike Roxburgh who wanted £160.
whqt are my options as I can't get a popla code off them as its been refused last time, do I pay the debt and it's done with
Thanks in advance

Debt collectors. Powerless. Ignore. Stop banging on about paying it, no-one with any self-respect or cojones pays these fake fines and we will certainly not help you or advise you to do so.Je suis Charlie.0

Not directly aimed at you @OP, but the hysteria that posters have injected into themselves that they are about to be dragged 'to court' is manna to the PPCs.
'Court' in this context is the small claims court. It's not a criminal court, no wigs, no jury, no sentence, no jail, no fine, no criminal record.
It would be a judge in civvies sitting with you and the PPC rep around a table in an ante room to sort out their claim that you owe them some money (with their reasons) and you saying that you don't (with your reasons). The judge will decide on that. You won't get shouted at or wildly accused of anything.
All that said - you seem not to have read many similar reads (particularly the Liverpool John Lennon Airport ones) which will tell you that a small claims court appearance by VCS in the context of an 'Airport stopping' charge would be one of the most unlikely events in all of PPC world.
Stop fretting, keep ignoring, get on with your life. Only come back if you get real court papers (ho ho!).Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
