Orange/EE Early Upgrade/End of Contract query

Hi,

I am looking at altering my phone, am currently in contract with Orange and have just got to the 'early upgrade date' and the actual end to contract is September though due to my current phone going faulty I am trying to get sorted and have a query:
- one of my options I was told is to get a phone only and keep on same contract - what happens at end of contract - can I just keep going on the same contract for as long as I want or will there be charges for being out of contract?

your contract doesn't end, only the minimum term does, so it will continue until you decide to cancel it.

however, if it was a contract with a phone, then once the minimum term is up, it'll be better to switch to sim-only, u'll be able to get the same/similar contract but it'll work out cheaper
