I received a ticket for parking in a disabled bay. Whilst I realise this is indeed a social faux par there is no signage to alert people that this had just started to be policed and that was now to be considered a civil offence on this private leisure centre car park.
Are signs required to make offences applicable ?
The bays are clearly labelled on the tarmac and my issue is that there is no notification that that it would be considered an offence?

If you look at the "stickies" in the
Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking sub-board, all the information you need is there. The nub of it, though, is that you make a POPLA appeal ( assuming you're in England as opposed to Scotland, where the rules are slightly different ).0
