So buyer has been refunded through ebay resolution centre and i was found to not be at fault. Are they now meant to return the item to me or do they get a full refund and get to keep the item too?

If its a no-fault refund, ebay have issued the refund with their own money. The paypal hold on your funds should now have been removed. The buyer can keep the goods.

I read the complaint as the buyer checked the designers page and checked how long the trousers would be and the length would fit her daughter but the trousers are in fact not the length they are advertised to be. Can I ask OP, as you have put the word designer in quotations is the item a fake?

 No, it was a genuine Adidas Originals Tracksuit bought from JD sports by me and I don't think they sell fakes !

I never heard from the buyer again so guess they were just trying it on
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

How unfair, they get a full refund and get to keep the item? Wow - u could scam away with that one, fai enough the money hasnt come out of my pocket for the refund but its not fair the buyer can have a refund and the item too..............

I quite agree. Make sure that buyer is on your blocked bidder list.

well at least you are not out of pocket, whereas if they had returned the item you would have lost the outward postage paid.
