Bristow and Sutor - Mailing Neighbours and Disclosing Personal Information

Ok, im slightly annoyed with the way that Bristow and Sutor are mailing my mothers neighbours looking for me.

I find this to be a disgraceful way to do business.

So I am here looking for support, I would like to see if people would send out letters to the neighbours of the Directors of Bristow and Sutor asking if they know the where abouts of the named director.

I think it would be hilarious if they got hundreds of letters to their neighbours. Then they would know how we feel when they invade our privacy on such a level.

Below is a list of Bristow and Sutor Directors and their home address.

As Bristow and Sutor are debt collectors, would I be right in assuming that you have an outstanding debt that they are trying to collect and don't know your present contact details?

I think it's wrong that they are writing to neighbours, but do you actually want people to do the same? That won't annoy anyone but their neighbours.
You should remove those details before the entire post gets deleted.

Why should we wasted stamps posting to your debtors?

Go to CA and get help sorting it out.

What is the personal information they disclosed.they are not allowed to disclose details of the debt.

This could be quite upsetting for your mum.

Also, is this an issue of unpaid council tax?

I'm sure they are just trying to contact you, obviously they are only doing this as you are hiding from them! The best thing for you to do is contact them yourself and get it sorted, you owe them money (well you owed someone else money but didn't pay them either so Bristol and suitor are now on the case.
If you are having trouble paying then either talk to them or the cab to organise a payment plan and then the hassle will stop, simples!
Other boards on here will help too, have a look around as ranting won't help anyone.
Ps I've been there done that, the sooner it's sorted the better :)

Its classed as harrassment if a creditor for whatever reason contacts your friends/neighbours.

If it is a Council Tax debt, ask for the debt to be recalled from Bailiffs due to unacceptable behaviour and arrange a repayment plan direct with them.
Although you may owe money there is still an acceptable code of conduct, and Bailiffs are paid by Local Authority so you could complain to them as well.

    Try https://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk or https://www.adviceguide.org.uk .

They probably feel the same about people who don't pay their debts and try to hide from them.

Do it before the new laws come in in April, it's getting expensive if they find you.

Completely incorrect in this case I'm afraid on so many levels. .

It is perfectly acceptable for any agency to write to last known addresses etc asking if they know the whereabouts of a person. As long as they are not divulging any personal information about that person.

So the person they are seeking has been known to live at all the addresses of the Mother's neighbours, and not just at the Mother's address? Bullcrap.
