Mis-Sold Mobile Phone Contract

  • Hi Steven

Thanks for your post! Need as much advice as I can.

The reason I didn't wait is because we work a seasonal job, we work 7 days a week with no time of as we have 4 months off over the winter. So the type of work I do, I'm not available to just pop to a shop to sort my phone out as much as I wanted to do that.

The sales guy was so worried about getting his commission on my sale that he kind of talked the talked with me into taking the contract out. Maybe people see it as my own fault but however don't.

Hopefully I will get it sorted out either way but I appreciate your post! Hope you have a good day.:j

    Quick Update!

After more calls to and throw to Vodafone and Phones 4 U , I managed to get somewhere. As the contract was taken out with Phones 4 u it is their responsibility to resolve our issues.

Phones 4 U sent two dis-connections to Vodafone for our phones last week and was told 5 working days to hear something back from them. In the meantime I contacted Ofcom and Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline to get some information on my rights. I discussed my problem and was given some advice which I have done.

So today, both our phones have been dis-connected as requested by Phone 4 U. Just waiting now for everything to be confirmed by both people so will update when its all finished.

Thanks for all your comments and a massive thanks to Lee from Vodafone web relations!! :j
