Exchanging large denominations for smaller ones - Dubai Dirhams

I have some 500 Dirham notes that I would like to change for smaller denominations before I go. Went into Hays who said they can't do it. Any suggestions?

I honestly don't think anyone will before you go, as there's no benefit to them, unless you find a very friendly local currency exchange, preferably not a chain one.0

best place would be at the airport , go to a travelex desk and ask , i did once when i had some large Hong Kong Dollars at heathrow"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

If you live in London any of the BDCs on Edgware Road will do it for free
Some airport BdCs may try to charge you a fee0
