I use Epoxy Enamelling Resin on my jewellery as it sets like a clear glass over my pieces, don't buy the poundland stuff in the two part tube as it often turns yellow (some resins will turn yellow if too much sunlight gets on them). The best one to use is a resin that has a 2:1 ratio (two parts resin to one part hardner) and used for jewellery as opposed to DIY. It dries in approximately 16 hours.

I've been trying to find the company I buy mine from but can't remember the name at the moment. I don't know if this helps but the resin is Chemset ES 8103 and the hardener is Chemset ES 8204. The bottle says RF Bright Enterpises Ltd, these are obviously the manufacturers but I buy mine from a jewellery making company.
