I don't want to admit this, but you're right. I'm so selfish, maybe I should donate £3 to those in need... of their APG results. I'm so fortunate I haven't had time to shop, it breaks my heart thinking of those poor souls waiting :p;) :rotfl:

Glad you have realised the error of your ways :D

Yes, I think your own personal confidence helps when using higher ones. The ability to think fast, charm, act surprised, come up with good one liners, be chatty all helps placate the more inquisitive SAs out there ;)

Yes, sadly my Asperger's acts as a disadvantage there - and it's no use having technically disability discrimination laws to say you shouldn't be treated less favourably - as the practice is very different: imagine if I was turned down and then said but I have Asperger's and thus can't put on the charm and hence that's why you rejected taking my voucher. It might well be the complete truth, but it's not going to turn on the charm to achieve its end ... and as for taking up a legal discrimination claim...!! I think not! (As for my experience, I find the truth usually hurts people more and is the least likely thing to achieve anything.) I have none of those abilities that you mention at all. Those are all the precise areas I just can't pull off.

(That said, it can be an advantage too - at least I can mooch around, in a car park maybe, in the background without anyone noticing I am there or what I'm doing. I can also look around seemingly aimlessly - not looking at people and attracting their (unwanted:rotfl:) attention but instead looking scanning over at various trolleys in different parts of the area and, if anyone says anything or thinks I'm shifty - well, I have autism.)

Nenen - hope that's helped you (as you're 99% or thereabouts likely to be able to put on charm).

I'm speechless (for once)! I told my dd my tale of woe about being so dizzy I can't travel and my frustration at not being able to do a Sada shop for all the glitchy things at the moment and she very kindly offered to go for me late last night. I gave her a list which included 6 bottles of fizzy, 2 packets of pork chops and a packet of carver ham (plus a few things we needed and some fillers) as I thought this would be about right for a reasonable APG without pushing it.

DD came home very pleased with herself as she'd found everything on my list and decided to double up the quantities! This has produced a voucher for £23.35. She had no idea that large APGs can cause problems - mind you, I'm so new to this myself that I don't really know what the problems might entail, I've just read advice on here to keep APGs below £10.

I'd be really grateful if someone could advise me on what problems this large voucher could cause and if there is any way I can spend it without it causing difficulties. I'm assuming that we haven't done anything illegal or against Sada rules have we?

Definitely one to use when they are really busy, and possibly go to a young person that looks like they do not have a care in the world. ;)

I wish I could tell when they had that look:(:(:(. My last 'young male' was fine (I was using 'normal-sized' APGs) but not as totally disinterested as I would have liked. Certain things about what happened as well... I suspect I read [reed] too much into it though!:)
