To say hospital today was a disappointment is an understatement.
On right meds. Referral to local pain clinic where I went in 2009 and discharged.
Nothing like the amazing things they offer in the leaflet.
Going to sit here sulking and buy handbags.

booo, I had hoped to hear that you were going to get 'sorted out' somehow. Go ahead and buy a bag, cheer yourself up.
I had the same response from my consultant a few years back ..... and discharged, grrrrrrrrUnfortunately news has got worse today, according to my solicitor my buyer has been in tears. And to be honest so have I.
At this very late stage her buyer has said he wants permission from leaseholder that he can make alterations before he will exchange and apparently that can take up to 4 weeks.
Where that leaves us if the answer is no is anyones guess. He is being given ultimatum tomorrow but where that leaves me if she does not have a buyer is up "poo" street.
Any advice from anyone who has been in similar position gratefully received.
Tiny, I don't know what to say sweetheart ((hugs)) to you. I know the inner stress and turmoil in the decision to gear yourself up to letting go of 'mums home' has been immense.
I can't give any answers as I've never been in that position but hope and pray that tomorrow brings good news. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

I had to go and find out what was happening ...
There's a whole little fairground being set up, by a TV production company. Apparently it's for 'Hollyoaks' (not a programme I'm familiar with, to be honest, so I may have got some of the details wrong), for an hour-long August Bank Holiday special.
(Spoiler alert.)
One of the lead characters, Tequila Sidebottom, has had a terrible shock when she realises that the baby she is carrying isn't hers! It was swapped in the womb for Jenny the Cushelle Koala by her love-rival, Fru Fru Beacoup, when Tequila was unconscious after eating a drugged steak bake at her engagement party to her childhood sweetheart Kirk Van Allenbelt. (Fru Fru is desparate to lure Kirk away from Tequila, which you would know if you watched the programme regularly.) Distraught, Tequila runs away to join Luigi Bontempi's travelling circus, where she works on the Tin Can Alley and the Squirt Water in the Clown's Mouth stall.
But Tequila is still pining for her baby boy, so to keep his memory alive she paints his name, Jason, on one of the carousel horses.
The big finish to the episode is a joyous bollywood-style musical number - Tequila riding on a giant fluorescent painted chicken while singing a bhangra version of Baby Love by the Supremes
... fade out, and roll credits.
Can't wait to watch it!:)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Have had to quote these 2 posts together as I went from real deep emotion with altojacks post as she hit the nail on the head to how I was feeling and it brought more tears to my eyes at how thoughtful the post was. :A
To then reading jelly's post and smiling by the end of it.
