Opps, sorry savvy.......
Well that's both of us made a mistake in the last 2 days..... We must be a right pear! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
No sign of £1 clothes in T's today. So I bought 2 pairs of half price jeans to help me get up to my £5 wys £50. Now do I resist trying them on, as they might actually fit :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Pan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.0

I'm watching for this one too savvy.....

Better than FREE with COS for 3 days if bought A v T or S and a useful filler. Can be purchased in most shopping combos for nearly free.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »I've discovered some very good consumer programmes are on BBC ONE at this time of the week. Good from our point of view - first one was on about the distinction between "Flavour" and "Flavoured" on product labelling - can't believe most people don't look at that. But not surprised perhaps - you look at gist and overall impression, I look at detail! Said that people have about one second to look at each product they buy in a supermarket (or course they are making snap decisions in there, not working it out before they go like we are) - the advertisers know all this and know, in short, (IMO) how stupid most consumers are.
Second one looked at stain removers. "Cheap" product came out second in both tests but was only narrowly beaten in both. In other words, IMO, all roughly the same. (Of course the expensive, or more expensive, products may be got cheaper if they ever glitch than the 'cheap' ones - and 'all work the same'.)
For all that differentiation that the advertisers and brands try to create to make us (or rather, most people) buy the brand - paying for the name - the telling comment (to me) was made by the analyst: "Stain removers are very similar, one to another, when we compare chemical compounds", so no surprise (to him) that they all did "fairly well".
They're very similar folks. There you have it - quoted words from an analyst. Very similar. Not different, unlike advertising and marketing is created to suggest.
Do not pay for expensive products. Put everything on same level and pick whatever is the cheapest. Money saving.:money:
I'm sure, in my mind, that this applies to every type of product - unless they really have a unique patent - and every type of service.
We have a family day on tuesdays and I put this on in the background whilst on here..... I propper laughed out loud when I heard the above! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Well I was going to go...:rotfl:
Latest 'price alerts' (in two parts) - looks like many prices have gone down in Sains.:T:T Quite a lot here going to go onto Tvs S, and some Avs S - but don't rush out today, wait for them to catch up;). Apple Turnovers still too dear for me, and Salad Tomatoes already better vs elsewhere (or indeed, buy as part of 3 for £1.50 in M - 50p per pack, rather than ten per cent off 69p - mix and match may not work on APG - except don't buy Savoy Cabbage as part of 3 for £1.50 in M as that's Avs T 40p soon). Assuming you have all these shops within distance for you... otherwise pick the best you can from within these (for whatever you need to buy).
Watch what Avs M is on the R White lollies (are they still £1?:think: - probably not but who knows?).
