Morning all. I went to my parents for the weekend so not been on since Thursday really. Did a little S shop for surf before it bit the dust, mum was very impressed and I gave my free Dr O pizza's to my SIL:D

This is a very good price...Anchor Grated Mature Cheddar 200g for £1 in A's, works out at £5 per kg and is already grated - bonus!

It looks like it doesn't compare anywhere either so a nice filler on any shop.

    :j:j:j
ooh thanks Smart1e, I need cheese:T. Haven't bought any for about 6 months. I love the Elite, just when you need something, it comes right along :D

I have to get up at least once a night as the big 60 is next month. So today is start of more water. Thanks
I'm 36 and go to the loo at least once in the night!! :rotfl:
Big high fives in our house the morning my little fella slept through the night for the very first time he is 20 months, I know it's trivial for others but almost 2 years with broken sleep has almost killed me!
:j:j:j Fantastic - oh you must be so pleased!!

i remember it well. My 4.5 yr old DS was an angel with sleeping, never had a problem and had even dropped his middle of the night feeds by 10 weeks. However, DD is another matter. She did ok but then Nov-Feb, she was waking up 2 or 3 times per night.. Luckily, that has finished now. Yippee to uninterrupted sleep :T:D

Yes your are right. This is what DD keeps saying to me. I am only going to gym every other day and doing short bike rides as I am about 40 years out of practice. My younger sister is obsessed with the gym. She weighs about 6.75 stone and goes to gym every day , walks 25 miles at weekend and sometime another 10 miles in the week. And her diet is very restricted and when we go away working she takes her bathroom scales.

    OMG:eek::eek::eek: That is ridiculous :eek::eek:

Now you have confessed your age I am even more impressed with the way you have lost weight. I am younger than you and struggle to lose weight (though I have lost a stone since Christmas), but I do cycle and walk regularly.

Reminds me of someone my son's fianc!e used to nanny for. She was utterly obsessed with fitness and eating "right", to the extent that her kids (girls aged about 8 and 10 if I recall rightly) were not allowed to eat a full sandwich, or a full helping of anything. As for taking them to McD's. well, they could have half a portion of chips each. Apparently they looked malnourished! She could not convince her that kids needed more fat and energy to grow, the mother just considered them as small adults with proportionate nutritional requirements. Note she USED to nanny for them, she could not continue as she was concerned for the kids' health and could not do anything about it. I believe they now live in the USA.

    good morning all
A small T shop achieved this morning and I can confirm the chocolate loaf cake is very nice as I'm sat having some with a cup of tea.

a few baby bits were reduced but in honesty its nothing different than the things that have been around for the past few weeks

I have managed to get the weekly essentials so unless a super glitch pops up thats all my shopping done until saturday.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

    That is fantastic :T:T

I often think that if my daughter had been my first she would have been my only child. My son slept through from day 1, apart from a few problems with colic. My daughter woke up every two hours for two years. At that age I explained to her that she should stay in bed all night, put up with her shouting several times a night for a couple of weeks, (shouted back to reassure her we were here) then finally got the first full night's sleep in over two years. I know how wonderful this day is :D

  • Thanks tiger, my oldest is a fab sleeper 12/13 hours a night but this little chap is a nightmare he has been very poorly since birth and had major kidney surgery in London back in November so I suppose I have been super soft on him, I'm just praying he has turned a corner and we can finally all wake up feeling refreshed. it will make for a much happier household.

I had a day off yesterday from shopping and wombling but the funny thing was,I walked down my road and found a receipt about 6 doors away.£3.37 apg without going no where near Sada.

Glad everyones ferreros worked but I wouldn't chance it today especially if we have got to wait till 6am.
