Up early for me today ( 7.00). DD away in Manchester for a couple of days and I am dog sitting. Little scamp had me up at 2.30 am to go out to wee and then woke at 7.00. So I thought why not get up early and do some housework. Already done kitchen and lounge. Getting a bit panicky as I put on 4 lbs over the last month what with holiday etc. DD says I should stay calm and just cut down. I have started the gym and got a bike so just up my exercise maybe. Problem is I am really good all day but in the evening I seem to get the munchies. Any ideas anyone.
When you get the munchies drink a pint of water.....it'll make you feel fuller and be great for your complexion.....I usually have a pint of water before a meal then I feel fuller earlier when eating0 -

Don't panic about the weight gain, compared to what you have lost that is nothing. You will soon lose that again, just don't get too carried away with all the exercise and get obsessive! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Same here, I drink at least one glass of water 15 minutes before a meal. The only down side is that at my age I tend to wake up at night needing the loo more because I do this in addition to what I drink normally :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Already started that. Had a pint when I got up and have had 2 cups t and porridge with half banana and a few spoons of yoghourt. Then had another pt water. Off to gym in an hour as OH is coming to look after the dog. Thanks0 -

Yes your are right. This is what DD keeps saying to me. I am only going to gym every other day and doing short bike rides as I am about 40 years out of practice. My younger sister is obsessed with the gym. She weighs about 6.75 stone and goes to gym every day , walks 25 miles at weekend and sometime another 10 miles in the week. And her diet is very restricted and when we go away working she takes her bathroom scales.0 -
No cheap clothes in my T's today even though they had the women's stuff yesterday.
Today dd1 is going to a friends after school so I won't see her until around 6:30.
So dd2 and I have planned a trip. Swimming, mcdonalds and then a couple of shops in the shopping centre0 -

Big high fives in our house the morning my little fella slept through the night for the very first time he is 20 months, I know it's trivial for others but almost 2 years with broken sleep has almost killed me!0
