pixie__girlie wrote: »what kind of lentils do you have rhos?
if you have red lentils they're great to just chuck in soups whilst they are cooking, they will turn to mush basically and thicken your soup. no need to add any extra cooking time i don't think.
yellow lentils i'm not too sure about, can anybody shed some wisdom as I think I've tried them in soup before and the result was not good- too firm.
thanks for the help dont have any yet am going to go and buy some think i will try the red ones they seem simply will add to a vegetable soup and see what it turns out like0 -

I keep the books that mean something to me, including a couple of SK ones I read as a teenager (needful things and the Tommyknockers, read them both several times).
I do have an ereader which has led me to discover books I might not have otherwise read, and find it more convenient for travelling as I can read a book in a couple of days quite easily. Means I don't need to lug half a dozen books on holiday, or ration myself to x amount of pages a day
I've just given a load of books I bought through a savings club at primary school back to the same club that is still going, some of those books then were a good 10-15 years old so it's nice to know that they're still going to be enjoyed by another generation.
My cousin gave me Imsomnia when I was a teenager, my first SK book
I also found one at Schipol airport, Dreamcatcher which I read whilst on honeymoon. Someone had read it, enjoyed it then written inside the cover that they wanted the story to be enjoyed by as many people as possible, hence why it was left for me to findread and pass on, thought that was lovely

Medley isn't giving the best return as A brought the individual price down a few weeks ago. These will give £1.40 back on the APG, so £1.60 for 3. Maryland give £2.16 back, so 84p for all 3. That said, if you actually want either they are both still less than half of As official offer price.
Just bed to wait for new M Medley offer to be added by the price collectors.
