It is the Medleys that have gone back to full price in Tosco, you bought your trigger with the maryland which are still ok for a A v T shop. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -

T's Big & Chunky offer due to end Tues 25/3 - should be OK tomorrow, and 'possibly' very early shops Tues am.0 -
Quick question for eBayers - with BIN and Best Offer, if someone offers you £2.50 below asking on a £16 item, would you counter offer say £15 or just accept? Just wondering what people expect to get.
I would counter it at £14.75 which is halfway between £16 and the £13.50 they have offered. They can always come back to you with a different figure and you can either accept or decline.
It's NOT free listings for everyone, only a selection of private sellers.
What's the craic with the chappatis someone mentioned? Is it a good glitch?
Back to work tomorrow and I am bricking it!:(:(

Thanks for this link TM.
I have tried to live a 'Slow' life since 2008. Was alot easier to do before dgc came along:eek: I try to be unmaterialistic but also now undersþand that buying quality items which will last is better for my budget overall.
I try to always take time to hear the birds singing before sunset. This if find has a major impact on me.
It is hard to live in minimalistic surroundings but I always ensure the downstairs of my house and my bedroom have nothing more than the essentials in them.
I can't sleep if I store anything under my bed:eek:
I also enjoy the decluttering threads on here. I have certain days to clean certain rooms and if it is missed because I have had a busy day it has to wait until next week. That way I am never playing catch up.
Being part of the Elite means having more than you imediately need and having to store things which challenges anyone who is trying to be minimalist but it is possible:T
Dipdap sometimes you have to just let go of things as it is the right thing for you.
I found I decluttered the same things over and over again before I could let go of some of them.
God knows how I will cope once I have a loft ladder installed as I keep all my first edition hardback books up there. No need for them as the 8 boxes have not been touched since 2008. It will probably take me 4 attempts to clear them but little by little I will let go. My grandparents had a proper libary in their study. Books were kept in glass fronted cabinets. I will never have the luxury of that space so must deal with them.
Hope everyone has had good days be it shopping or hiding inside from the sudden cold weather.
Off for a mamouth catch up.
V x
I've recently let go of most of my books
I love Stephen King and wanted to collect his books, in paperback to read then hardback to look nice on the shelf until DD is old enough to read and appreciate themTherefore I had at least 2 of each novel, sometimes more as I'd visit a charity store and forget ones that I'd already bought...
I thought I'd regret it because I love the feel of a real book and have no wish to own a kindle or suchlike device but I don't. And I'm starting to accept that by the time DD is old enough to read them they probably wont even be printing paper books any moreSo, with sadness I gave them to mam for the boot sale, hope someone who still likes books will get some joy from them.

Watching lambing live on BBC2.
The farmers wife is describing what it is like to be a farmers wife.... I am so pleased as I no longer feel like I am the only woman who lives like this! But I am not married to a farmer!100 -
Oh and some ideas for Mother's Day presents:
LANCOME are giving a free gift with any 2 purchases at House Of Fraser. The gift is worth up to £74 apparently. It's both online and in store. Good deal if you use this brand anyway.
CLINIQUE BONUS TIME until next week (that's what the in store poster said). Again a free gift with any 2 purchases at Boots. This is in store only and one purchase has to be skincare.
Both gifts would make an ideal present for Mother's Day along with some chocolates/clothing/drink poos or something else. HTH.0
