Prepared a salad and put tray of potatoes with mozzarella in the oven and took chicken out of fridge to come up to room temperature.
Everything was ready and I was just about to cut into the chicken when I realised it was raw:eek:. I thought it was a cooked chicken
Honestly
I've never bought a rotisserie chicken from marksies before and for some reason thought it was cooked:o
Just as well the bendy vegetable soup was tasty:T
Sorry TM but that did make me :rotfl::rotfl:
What pray tell is bendy soup :eek:0 -

Good Evening everyone.
I think i may have been talking to the mother of someone who chats on here. I was in Liverpool today curtesy of redspottedhanky - saved myself over £11and I was in John Lewis s having my free hot choc and piece of choc cake for my dinner lol. I asked this lady could I sit here as you do when places are crowded and we got talking.
She said her daughter whose name is Sue like me lol lives in Glasgow. She s in her late 50 s and is also a mystery shopper apparently. She d heard of the elite but didn t know her daughters name on here.
So if it's you please show yourself lol :T
Ps I,also managed two of the hotel chocolate freebies from 02 and some perfume with 20% off from The Fragrance Shop. None of these shops are in Wrexham:( The nearest place is Chester.
I think that must have been my Mum! It all fits....0 -
I need your advice, oh wise ones
Did a small T v A shop with the glitchy cake and a few other bits I needed, expecting a few quid back. Well, I didn't get any PP back, or a spit saying what I've saved. I got 13 different items so it can't be that. Checked the receipt online and it says my results are not ready yet - what is this??? It's never happened to me before!:(
Did you get 10 different items. Don't expect to get any on line results now as they won't come. If you did get 10 different items can you post them
Ps I'm not sure in tesco if kiosk items count0 -
Evening all
Some good bargains in Ts today. Couple of divine Christmas trees and found some reduced baby food for the food bank- my first Christmas dinner double packs- marked at £1.50 but scanned at 41p each. Dates are well into 2015 and the pots are quite big.
I was at our local food bank yesterday. They put in some extra goodies as it was for a family with a little boy.
Unsure if you are all aware but it's not easy to access food parcels....I know some people think that for some families it is a free for all. It isn't.
You need to provide DOB, post code, reasons for needing a food parcels and it's not enough just to say"ran out of food". You have to show exceptional circumstances. I wrote 3 paragraphs. You cannot return again unless circumstances have changed.
The parcel I collected contained rice, pasta, pasta sauce, milk, frozen bread, Smart Price cereal, tuna, tinned veg, sweets, tea bags, tinned meatballs. I added to it a bag of fruit and veg and toiletries:cool:
Dad cried when I turned up with it:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

I should be doing a few of my lists, and have been 'idly' adding items away from here, but I'm getting a bit of offer fatigue. Things such as McVities Krackawheats at T on 2 for £1.70, but that's (a) way too expensive IMO, and (b) back to same price as last offer - which was 85p and didn't require you to buy two as they now do. I'm get a bit bored of this - we need some real good offers and some refreshing. This isn't that.
I'm getting a bit unimpressed to be frank. All of the offers are more expensive than previous glitched ones we've had. I've ruled out vitually all of the entire 'savvy buy' shelves at Mr A and Mr S. I'm unimpressed at Ritz Crackers at 2 for £1.50 for T when they've been 69p each at vs elsewhere before. And Mr T has thwarted part of my next APG comp. due to an unfavourable error on their website:(.
Cadbury's Brunches at £1 for S - no good either. They're on £1 r'back in A and therefore no chance of a mbuy glitch.
But I'll try though, soon, to see what I've got on all of the lists!0
