    It is a waste I agree with that

    But for me it’s the fact that distilled water or cola will strip the goodness from the meat or anything you cook with it


    And it won’t taste as nice as if it’s infused with bay / cloves /onion / peppercorns or something similar

    And pea and ham soup is great :)

    Just done a H/E shop, I bought the beautiful ends...hope that was one of the comparing ones, the sel in store said £2 but they went through the till at £3.79 with 2 for £4 discount on receipt.
