Question for the bakers.....I often make unbaked cheesecakes....but I am today trying a baked one. So....cherry chocolate cheesecake.....I have done the base chocolate, then the cheesecake bit normal but with cherry pie filling in the middle, I'll then make a cherry choc glaze for the top. Question is....exactly how watery/fluid should the cheesecake part be? I'm a little concerned mine was too watery....mine resembled lightly whipped cream

Sorry, it is now in the bin, total disaster and it would have probably caused more damage than good to anyone daring to eat it. Ahh well.......

Hi, lil_T ... Mrs Simkins offers this follow-up 'post mortem':
"I did think the cherries if in the middle of the mix might not work out. Too much extra moisture and acid, I expect."
Just in case anyone was planning to try something similar, might be worth bearing in mind.
And as Mrs S adds, "It's all about experimenting".:)
