  • I think you are just a bit unlucky when it comes to Dr O :(
Yes, I think I am. However they've been great for nearly the last year we've got free or nearly free Pizzas & eaten FAR more Pizza in the last year than we've eaten in the previous 10 years. I'll miss them after this month - I still haven't enough room in my 3 freezers to take as many as I'd like to.

I'd love it if they did the same promotion again. I wonder if they ever will? I'm sure it's only a small proportion of us that had a glut of coupons. I bet the people on here made up about 90% of the coupons redeemed.

Dr O and the weight-watchers meals, not to mention the BNI's and the totally unhealthy rustlers (didn't get many of those) meant that I've spent far less time in the kitchen than normal during the last year.

I don't think they've been so great for us though. Guess after this month I'll have to start making 'proper' meals again.

I must admit we were getting used to 'proper' meals before this glut of 'ready' meals at too good a price to leave in the store. TBH a proper meat and 3-4 veg meal (cooked dinner) should do our health a lot better. Guess I'll get back to making soups again too.

Who else is REALLY going to miss them?

I only got a few Dr O's as we don't eat pizza that often. I like the panabello but the ristorante are a bit pedestrian unless you add your own toppings :)

Just wondering out loud, do food banks take frozen items?

Have you seen the calories in the Jalfrezi BNI :eek:
I've got a freezer full of the damn things

Anyone that is suitable for a teddybears picnic really

Ok now got that scene from Mongrels in my head. And before you ask DM I do have Bondage Bear.
Had a lovely Elite day out, ok was for lunch but we spent 8 hours out and about.
I have opened naebbiracs eyes to shops which do not have glitches. Today was The Range and next time might be Dunelm:eek:

We hit the £ shop hard today and finished up at B and M, a very large one with an excellant wine stock and floflo if you are reading, I got Eyelure lashes for £1 a set. Very happy bunny.
Has anyone been in £ shop and been asked how much the teabags are?
No DM I mean the pg tips kind:rotfl::rotfl:

Called in to see mum on my way home and her complete new mouth of teeth look fantastic:T After such extensive work I was suprised how well she could talk. Bruising to come and soft food for a few days so got to stock them up with eggs tomorrow as will be soup or scrambled eggs.

Just got my weekly fix of Sewing Bee:T

Evening/morning mad squad, due to a recently posted APG I've just noticed there are TWO different Schwartz mushroom mixes compairing at 20p, the stroganoff one and the creamy garlic one, armed with this (new?) knowledge I have had a look on MSM and am pleased to announce I have found the following:

    Schwartz Roast Turkey Gravy Mix(25g) 88p v 20p W

    Schwartz Dauphinoise Potato Bake Recipe Mix(40g) 88p v 40p T

    Schwartz for Veg Roasted Root Vegetables Mix(37g) 98p v 20p T

    Schwartz Bag 'n Season Mixed Herb Chicken Sauce(15g) 97p v 20p T

    Schwartz Bag 'n Season Mediterranean Chicken Recipe Mix (28g) 97p v 20p T

    Schwartz Bag 'n Season Paprika Chicken Sauce(28g) 97p v 20p T

I've already made garlic mushrooms twice now and I feel I may have to do some more cooking now.:D

And yes I am quite pleased with myself :D :T :D

    Happy cooking :D
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.
