Is it just these or are all the gift sets with similar barcodes likely to also be reduced? I could not check as the official trout was on duty on self scan this evening and our store doesn't have hand held scanners or working price check scanners, but there are buckets of Freixenet with chocolates, Gallo Zindefal with Lindt and others in that section.

Has anyone else had this happen to them in Tescos? I'm wondering if they have new software on the tills that won't allow you to make a profit on vouchers and checks on prices? Can't just be my store, or can it??

When I emptied the choc out the xmas tins OH put them by the door to go in the bin ( within a min). When I thought about them they got moved from the door as I'm thinking they will be as good as an open basket for filling with goodies for gifts this xmas. :cool:

I scanned a few different ones tonight but all came up full price bar the pink zin already mentioned, I tried the gallo, the freixenet pink and normal in black mini champers bucket plus 2 other gift sets with decorated glasses in, may vary from store to store though hth
