I agree nerfy. It breaks my heart cos MIL (and all of his family) havent seen tigercub for half of her life. DS is such a little treasure and they've missed out on it all.. The whole argument/fall out was that my OH felt we, and more specifically the kids, were out of sight out of mind. For the best part of 15 years, we drove up and down the M1 for visits and rarely had people come to us as they wouldn't make the effort.. We put our foot down when the kids arrived.
    (oops, rant alert) :D
My mum and his mum could not be more different - I'm very lucky as they will move mountains to be a part of their GC lives.

It's there loss- my mates girls are now in the late teens and his dad asked why the girls don't visit and nearly 20 years of anger came out as he told his dad it's because you never bothered with them, spent more on other gran kids , had others sleep over and that's why the think your a willy:rotfl: he was not happy but could not argue:eek:
He told me the worse part was when his girls about 10 asked why do they have the other gran kids sleep and not us:o
His dad tried to say its because they did not ask for help:o:mad:

sometimes days are like that.... takes you two hours to get anywhere or anything done. At least youve cancelled sun+ now. In fact, your email reminded me to cancel a kids activity box thing that I'd signed up for (so thanks for saving me £4.50:D ).
Hope your day gets better and without much fuss. things come in 3's and you've had them now :)

Well I still have not got very far, still in the dressing gown but I have now eaten and made an old fashioned to do list so at least I have a plan and if OH stays at work for at last 2 hours I will catch up :j

The 3rd thing has happened already - a minor difference of views with eldest child - but I have to just ignore it as she is under huge stress due to the forthcoming move plus she takes my jokes a bit serious.
And me being a bit over emotional about the whole thing is not helping.

Anyway time to get on, such fun ...

such a shame. You are right, it is their loss. She has 3 other GC and would do anything for them. One of them lives with her (as her mum emigrated to Oz 5 years ago and DD didn't want to go).

Will have to see how this weekend goes - it will be fraught so I'll take one of the kids i think and do a runner when the going gets tough :rotfl:. One thing she does is sit there stewing over something, then says "I just need to say.." and that is the moment I'm going to leg it :rotfl::rotfl::D

Good morning everyone, thanks for the new thread :)

This didn't work in my store :( it scanned at £2.50, the price on the SEL. Maybe it was just one store it was 63p, either that or they fixed it quick.

Didn't work for me either :o
