I have this for my jewellery and it is fab as it takes little space in the wardrobe but I can see what I have. Maybe you can use it fot some pieces and then display others on the wall.

These are sold in Home Bargains at a much smaller price tag. ;)

I have a similar problem storing all of my jewellery too. I had a look on ebay and found a free-standing floor mirror which opens up to reveal storage. They also do a cabinet which hangs on the wall which is cleverly disguised as a mirror, I bought one and it is an awesome solution. Mine is white with 5 slots for favorite photos as well as the mirror. It has plenty of hooks and sponge slots for rings, clever stuff. Sorry I can't post links on my phone but just type in jewellery cabinet. Hope this helps.

I'd make an easy-peasy simple-pimple wall display. Two bars of wood, and at least 6 large-ring but thin-ringed chains, and affix them on the wall like in my dodgy picture. That way, you can display and colour coordinate the necklaces cheaply yet effectively. The "gold" curves are meant to be the necklaces, btw :o drew it quickly on a tiny phone whilst half asleep.

You'd have to fix the necklaces on one side with a safety pin or chicken wire or something similar, but the other side should fix itself to the chain with the clasp. This way they're all on display but still accessible.

You could also omit the wood to create a more fluid wall-hanging.

Chain is really cheap: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/300943682169?nav=SEARCH&varId=600156006305 and there are so many ways to personalise the wood and the chains (ribbons/pins etc.) that you can adapt it however you want rather easily. You could also hang it from a four poster like a bead curtain, or on the back of a door.

I've got the same problem, but years ago i made a wall decor panel out of a piece of 2' x 6' garden trellis hung across my kitchen wall, landscape way up then used hooks to hang pictures and pots and jugs, you could use the same for your jewellery, i used butchers hooks but you could use over cupboard doors hooks iyswim
