Contract expires soon....

Hi everyone, new here!
My orange contract runs out very soon, next week I think. I was wondering what happens next? Does my contract continue on a rolling month by month contract? Until I cancel?
Also, if that's the case, during the month by month... Do I just upgrade my phone like you would at the end of the contract or do I have to cancel and sign up to another contract?
Thanks in advance
Andy.

Doesn't the contract answer these questions? It's normally 30 days notice but you should check the small print. If you upgrade it starts a new minimum term.0

Your contract will continue but you can now cancel and move with 30 days notice or upgrade with your current provider and get a new phone (and a new contract with a new minimum term).0

Your contract does not expire you've just finished the minimum term
It will continue as a rolling 30 day contract as MataNui says.
If you do nothing there will be no difference, but now you've hit the end of the minimum term it may be better to switch. You've paid the phone subsidy back, no point paying more than you need to for airtime.
If you want a new phone you need to look at a new contract, if your happy with the phone it will save you money to switch to a SIM ONLY contract, that could be with your current provider, or someone new.0 -
You should consider 30 days before the end of the minimum term.
You can usually upgrade, get a PAC or ask them to terminate your account at this point at no additional cost.Your contract does not expire you've just finished the minimum term

The savings on switching to a SIM-only deal can be considerable.0
