Given it's size, you would expect it to be expensive to tax (rather like an HGV), but no, the cost of taxing a Bendy Bus is just £330 pa.
There are cars that don't cost much less than that.

It's because it's a public service vehicle.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0

There are also cars that cost more. And they don't have such a habit of catching on fire!0

I couldn't understand this. Bendy buses are used all over the world but somehow they seemed to have got a bad reputation in the UK. I quite liked them.0 -
In London they were a nightmare, if there was a busy junction you could almost guarantee it would be blocked by a bendy bus. And I'd love to know which rocket scientist thought it was a good idea to to replace double deckers with something that took up twice as much road space in view of the congestion.0

Don't give rocket scientists a bad name - it was a politician's decision. THey love to import foreign ideas regardless of logic [in this case the typical London "street geography].0 -
It's like the designers that specify shiny marble floors in public buildings, great where it doesn't rain but over here they turn into a skiting rink quite regularly.0

When I was a hgv driver for Royal Mail there hgv didn't pay any tax and I think the police, fire and ambulance services are also exempt .
It's only the little men that have to pay to fix our roads0 -
Road repairs have nothing to do with vehicle tax. See below for a quote from your government. When I was a hgv driver for Royal Mail there hgv didn't pay any tax and I think the police, fire and ambulance services are also exempt .
