Can one of the regular Lanzarote visitors be able to tell me--is it wiser to hire the car from here on t'internet or wait until we get there, going for 10 days want a car for 7! Do not want from airport as transfers to Cost Teguise already paid for.

Not sure if you're sorted yet... but as you want a car for 7 I would recommend you book it in advance - and see if they'll deliver too. Prices don't differ that much in the resort.
