    It doesn't come easy for decent people to 'no comment' questions from coppers, but it really is the best way. They are not interested in truth, only getting a 'result'.

    You don't have to - if asked just say what happened. I wouldn't be surprised if the owner has has already found the mislaid belongings in a teapot.

  • I wonder how many viewings there have been and when they last saw the items. Also with agent having keys could house have been left open at any point with EA upstairs or in the garden and someone off the street has just been opportunistic and gone in and grabbed something
