Virgin direct debit down

I'm on a direct debit account with Virgin Mobile and I've had to do a direct online bank transfer to pay my bill as their system won't do a direct debit. They say there will be a mark on my file and credit history (despite the fact there system is to blame and my banks account hasn't changed). Should I write them a letter appealing this decision as it's there fault.

Defintiely. A stain on your credit history because of their error has enormous implications and is completely unacceptable. Not just a letter, but a formal complaint. If they refuse to ensure there is no adverse entry on your credit files you can go to CISAS after 8 weeks. You will have to prove it is their error, so written evidence/confirmation would be important.0

Probably a question that you should post in the Credit File forum rather than here. You'll likely get more responses.

If they clearly refuse there is no point in waiting for 8 weeks.mobilejunkie wrote: »...If they refuse to ensure there is no adverse entry on your credit files you can go to CISAS after 8 weeks0
