Primus want to send another BT engineer and refuse to let me leave free. Any ideas please.

What did the engineer point the blame at your internal wiring .
Have you tested from the master socket .

Engineer said the master box needed upgrading as it was 20 years old.He tested from the new box and said there was no fault on the line from the exchange.now run router from the new box, broadband disconnect all the time and even drops out when telephone is used.BT have told primus the line is fine on his report.Primus want to send a special engineer to test the line again.Never had any problems in the last 15 years on a BT contract I am trying to go back to them.

Since you'l be on the same line with BT, switching back to them would not solve the issue. BT OR maintain the line regardless.

Thanks for your reply Macman but I am convinced the problem is with Talk Talk opal servers which are causing the dropouts,or connections at the exchange opal network, reading on TalkTalk members website several people have left for the same reason to find the problem disappears proving the problem was not aBT line error.
