You need this the manufacturer and model, usually in some detail underneath, to Google for something like the User Manual or perhaps an Engineering Manual.0

On the Amilo Pro V there is a group of three switches on the keyboard just below the screen and to the left of centre.
The right hand one of these three should have an icon which looks like an uplighter, with two curved brackets either side, very approximately like
( ( I ) )
In the manual this is followed by:
Wireless LAN
With this button you can switch on or off the wireless LAN module.
Maybe this is what you need?

The manual is here http://uk.ts.fujitsu.com/rl/servicesupport/techsupport/lifebook/AMILO/Amilo-Pro/Downloads/a26391-v2010-z120-uk[1].pdf
(I can't get the link to work as it contains brackets .... you may have to Google for it, sorry.
Looks like the quicklaunch keys on this model are in the top right hand corner, next to the power key/button.
See pages 3 and 23Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

If it runs a variant of Linux, I can't help you - perhaps someone else can?
If it's Windows, you can set up a boot disk to remove the Administrator (or another) password.0 -

It's been a while since I worked as a techie but you can recover Administration passwords for XP, Win 7, 8 etc using a freeware program called Ophcrack. It can be downloaded from: http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php?type=livecd The version for XP is the first link. It's an iso image file that will need to be burned to a blank CD. A full pictoral guide to using the software is here: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ss/ophcracksbs.htm Essentially you change the boot order of the laptop to boot from the CD drive first, pop the live cd in the draw and once the computer is rebooted the program will start and search for any User passwords and display what it finds, so have a pencil/paper ready. To burn the iso file to a cd you can use other free programs such as Imageburn or CDBurnerXP. Please report back here with any success or otherwise you have.0
