Oh Scuffer - I can hardly believe we are all reading and sharing this fantastic news.

Thank you so much for this wonderful update to start the day on.

I hope ALL of your family: parents, sister, lovely Aunt, were present and shared the celebrations.

Are you still earning part-time wih Mum?

What direction are you looking in for career now?

The other person, re: whom I wrote in pms, is also free now, though without your education and advantages, but doing well enough in these tough times [all the more so since Election...don't let me start on politics]

Scuffer, thankyou so much again - please let us know how things are going from time to time.

Bless you and So Well Done!!!

p.s. let's say divine intervention brought you googling here to mse.

I remember pm'g you from Hamilton Library in NZ, on my trip back to beloved Uncle's 90th and that was marvellous too.
I'm off to include you in my thoughts and bungling-tryer prayers in our ancient Church. It's a house of reflection and today I can leave some Thanks there Scuffer, because of your post.

Well done! It's really nice to hear when hard working people do get the rewards despite the setbacks. I'm sure you wouldn't want to go through it again, but in a way, I'm sure you are grateful that the experience has made you stronger, more resilient and more determined as a result.

Thanks for coming to update us.

I've heard stories like this before, where the ex-convict goes back to education and everyone thinks it's good news, but end of the day if nothing comes out of that degree due to the conviction, it's all meaningless. Usually you have to wait until your conviction is off record, but if your name is on the media your only chance is if the employer is forgiving, or perhaps not tech savvy enough to google up your name.

Did not one ever tell you if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all...
I am an employer and I would employ someone with a conviction.
