Mancunian has gone out of his way to invite forum users to claim a free eye test with his vouchers, and despite getting loads of takers filling up his inbox he has carried on trying to help money savers by continuing to post so that as many people as possible coulds take advantage of his generosity.

Not only did I get a free eye test and 500 nectar points but his timley posting got me chivvied up to get my eyes tested before the summer holidays when it would have been far more tricky.

I'm nominating this post from the Flood Board. Throwing out an open invitation to strangers to come and bath and shower at her house, and take drinking water when they leave is absolutely wonderful.

It's the people who glue everything together on MSE and make it what it is.
