How did you know your viewer was going to offer?

  • Seems silly, but one of the best indicators is if you hear the viewers start talking about if their bed will fit, or where they will put the sofas. If they are visualising where their personal possessions are going then they like your home.

You can get them into this train of thought by asking; "have you got a double sofa" or "would you have the bed against the other wall" or "where will you put the Tv". A good Estate Agent should do this for you and get the buyer visualising living in your home.

Remember, most buyers have made their mind up by the time they open your front door. Make sure you have a kerb appeal; clean driveway, painted fences, door bell works, front door is well sat and opens and when the door opens there is a nice smell in the house.

    Hope this helps.

Is it crazy to in a strange way `miss` the excitement of viewers and wondering wether they are going to offer or not? (i must be mental to even type that!)

I heard of someone who left their iPad recording in the living room while the viewers went around. ;)

Why do you need to know? If they offer, it will be passed to you via EA anyway.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.

Yeah but only do that if happy to hear some potentially less than complimentary comments about the house and vendor!

Yes, they say that snoops hear no good of themselves.

Either you want the feedback or you don't. :D
