Help - does this type of contract exist?
I don't know if this actually exists or not or I am just imagining things but maybe about a year ago I seem to remember someone telling me they had bought a contract for their daughter that cost them something like £15 per month which allowed them so many minutes and texts but when it came to the end of her allowance it "reverted" to a pay as you go type phone, in other words she had to top it up before she could make any more calls/texts.
This was ideal as it meant she didn't have a whopping bill at the end of the month if her daughter was a bit too chatty.
The thing is I can't remember who told me this, which network it was or if it even existedor I just imagined/dreamed it.
I can't seem to find anything and wondered if anyone can help
My friend's daughter is looking for a pink phone and not wanting whopping bills every month this type of contract would be ideal. At the moment she is on O2

I think its T mobile that offer this type of contract....its called UFix.
Like you said, they give you a set amout on your line rental, and then when it runs out, you will have to top it up to use any further in that month..
I would say its ideal for kids.
Have a look on the Tmobile website. Go to the Price Plans bit, and then the you-Fix bit.
Has all the detials there.
Hope this helps.Nothing ever lasts forever...0 -
you used to have to pay full price for the phone though, pink handsets are limited as to what models are available
things like
lg chocolate
nokia 6111
samsung e900things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then

Hi
Yes - it is the LG Chocolate she was after - I'll tell her to have a look at the website or if they don't offer the choice of a pink phone she can pop into the T-Mobile shop and see if they can offer it to her.0
