I agree, and sometimes the mere threat of emailing the IPM solves the problem.
I once threatened P&O with the IPM a few years ago after months of them fobbing me off and as soon as I mentioned getting in touch with the IPM, my prize was honoured within 3 days.
Give it a go, they are really helpful. Lots of people on here have got in touch with them and had issues resolved.
