The ridiculous thing is that they do this for publicity... And by not addressing it to their @handle at the start of the message, all of your followers will have seen it... Which is actually good for them :wall:

Arrrr, I was just above you with the answers .... if only I had said FALSE instead of TRUE

But I agree, I didn't see any mention of them saying you had to also tag them - although I did after question 4 came out (I had 2 pages open at once, one with the question and another with the tweet ready to send)

I've seen comps when they ask you not to reply with the handle as that's what the # is for.

The other week there was a tw comp and it said first 10 to reply would get a TShirt , I replied yes along with others and was in the first 10 but the company gave it to the first 10 that hit retweet...I wasn't happy as it said reply not retweet which would have been even quicker for me, but at least it was only a tshirt not £250.

I would complain to the IPM. It doesn't seem very fair to me.

Thank you all, I've decided to leave it be and just accept what they send me, yes I feel hard done by but hopefully the goodies they send me will be something worth getting! I threw in a sympathy message to them afterwards saying it was the first competition i'd won (lol) and that I felt hard done by. Maybe that will sway how much they give me.

Seems a bit harsh to complain to IPM at this stage? I'd definitely discuss it with them a bit more before considering taking further.

I would really email Edwin Mutton at the IPM and just get his opinion on it, he is really good and will take it further if he feels it is merited
