Same here! I've still got my old "virgin.net" account from when they started as a dial up ISP many many moons ago! ^_^I haven't been with Virgin since the days of dial-up and yet my email account still works so they do not seem very consistent.
I would also recommend Gmail or even Hotmail.
just need to log in 2 -3 times a year and I usually send an email or 2 to make sure it's still active. ^_^
but get a Gmail or other account, or even get your own email address when you buy a domain name! ^_~ lolLaters
